There's A Fungus Among Us was a compilation record put out by Martin Sorrondeguy in 1989. This was the first record that Martin, who would go on to found the label Lengua Armada Discos, would put out. All the bands on the release were from Chicago.

- The cover art is a parody of the Misfits' LP Walk Among Us. The covers were available in pink and purple, the same as the Misfits LP.

- Only The Strong featured future Victory Records founder Tony Brummel. Victory would later release a series of compilations called "Only The Strong".
- Vermicious Knids' Guy Aitchison and Target's Zac Conway appear in the credits on this release but neither appear on their respective bands songs.
- The Bhopal Stiffs' song was reissued on the 1985-1989 discography.
- Screeching Weasel re-recorded "Slogans" for their 3rd LP, 1991's My Brain Hurts. The original version was re-issued on the 2000's Thank You Very Little double CD.
- No Empathy re-recorded "Orgone Reich" on their 3rd LP, 1993's They Want Whatever.
