John Mohr was the original guitarist, then later singer for Blatant Dissent. After Jim Wohlever left the band in spring of 1984, John took over vocal duties until BD's mutation into Tar around 1988. When Tar disbanded around 1995, Mohr moved to the Pacific Northwest.
Mohr also ran the label No Blow Records, which released records for BD and Tar.
