The Iron Rail was a West Side bar that played a lot of punk/hardcore shows in the late 80s. It was at 5843 W. Irving Park Road and was known for being a bit of a shithole. Two promoters, Sean Duffy (Last Rites) and Troy Dixler (Midwest Managemest), booked shows there regularly. As a result, there was a steady stream of punk shows there throughout the second half of the 80s.
