WNUR is an non-commercial, listener-supported radio station broadcasting out of Northwestern University. They have been a longtime support of local Chicago music, including but not limited to punk. The broadcast on 89.3 FM and are still operating today, with all their broadcasts available over the Internet. Their biggest contribution to the Chicago punk scene was Fast and Loud & The Middle of America Compilation.
