Jim Skafish was the frontman of Skafish and one of the biggest names in the Chicago punk/prepunk/newwave/whatever scene before 1980. Though his name isn't well known beyond members of the scene, Jim Skafish is certainly one of the forefathers of the Chicago punk movement.
Notes
- Well known WXRT DJ Bobby Skafish is Jim's first-cousin.
- His name is pronounced SKAY-FISH and therefore has nothing to do with Ska music
