Bobby Skafish was one of the most well-known Chicago DJs during the 1970s and 1980s. To this day, Skafish is one of the more prominent alt-rock DJs for WXRT. He was known for playing acts like The Stranglers, David Bowie and Roxy Music during the beginnings of the punk era. As a result, he was well-received by the members of the scene.
