Ruthless Records was an independent label run by members of The Effigies. After the release of their Haunted Town EP, the Effigies were dissatisfied at the way Autumn Records handled their expenses and decided to start their own label. In addition to their own stuff, Ruthless the original records for such stalwarts as Big Black and Naked Raygun.
