Small Irregular Pieces of Aluminum was a short-lived band featuring Steve Albini. They were around before Albini joined Stations so the band must have been around in late 1980 or early-to-mid 1981. Albini said they were "really bad" and that there were tapes of them floating around, as they recorded a demo.
