Steve Cheese

Steve Cheese was the original drummer of Screeching Weasel and All Night Garage Sale. Steve was originally from Door County, Wisconsin (hence, the nickname "Cheese") and had also drummed for a band when he lived there. Steve played all the drums on Boogadaboogadboogada, which was released after he had left the group. He was asked to leave Screeching Weasel in the fall of 1988 because of his unwillingness to tour (Steve had gotten married the previous spring was committed to his day job), although the insert in the original pressing of Boogadaboogadboogada announced that Steve was not kicked out but had decided to "move on". Nothing certain is known about his post-Weasel activities, although it seems that he did not return to music and its been said that he may have moved back to Wisconsin.
