Cubby Bear, across the street from Wrigley Field, was a relatively popular venue for punk shows in the early 80s. Though it is now known more for drunk Cub fans, in its day Cubby Bear was one of the better places in the city to see your favorite punk band.
Notable Shows
- Late 1981 - The Fall, Naked Raygun (who played an encore (Libido) naked)
- April 23, 1982 - Naked Raygun, Trial By Fire
- Summer, 1982 - Naked Raygun, Rights of the Accused - Dave Grohl's first show
