Scott "Gub" Conway has played guitar in a number of Chicago-area bands over the years. In the late '80s, he started out with Ivy League. He played in Gauge from 1991 to 1994 (and later, 2010-11)and also handled a majority of the lead vocals for that band. In 1992, Gub toured with Screeching Weasel as their bassist and roadie, appearing on 2 live EPs. After Gauge, he played with Lady On The Five, The Aldermen, Ming, and Red Villian. Currently, he performs with both Ghost Forest and the acoustic-punk band Even In Blackouts.
