Matter was published by Elizabeth Phillip in the 1980's. With issue #1 released in January of 1983, Matter was professionally printed and was of a much higher quality than most other zines of the day. The pages were a nice semi-gloss. Steve Albini was known to be a heavy contributer to this zine.
