Ivy League was punk/emo-core quartet that formed in the Western Suburbs in the late '80s. In their lifetime, they managed one 7" and some compilation appearances before disbanding in 1991, by which time some of the members had already begun participating in other bands. Members of the band went on to play in a number of other bands such as Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, Even in Blackouts, Gauge, Smug, Sleepy Bear, Trigwater, Tricycle Mechanics, Red Villian, The Queers, Cinco De Gatos, Ghost Forest, Double Odd Buck, Ming, The Aldermen, Beulah, The Plus Ones, and others.
