'''Phil Bonnet''' was an engineer and producer of note throughout the 1980's and 1990s, working primarily out of [[Solid Sound]] Studios in Hoffman Estates, IL. He worked with a number of local bands including [[Apocalypse Hoboken]], [[Sludgeworth]], [[Screeching Weasel]], [[Impulse Manslaughter]], [[No Empathy]], [[Sidekick Kato]], [[Smoking Popes]], [[Slapstick]], [[Life Sentence]], [[Friends of Betty]], and others. He also played with the experimental rock band Cheer-Accident. Phil passed away in 1999 after suffering a brain aneurysm.
