&lt;div&gt;For what it&#039;s worth I was one of the &amp;quot;SAIC staff/Faculty&amp;quot; members who facilitated the birth of the band since I had the keys to the back room of the Sound Department at the time. I also played guitar at several shows including one at the notorious Mothers shows. Pimpin&#039; to Detroit was my &amp;quot;hook&amp;quot; contribution. Since I had the most technical experience I also mixed many of the bands in the day, if you have memories of bad sound I apologise, I was still learning.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
