All Night Garage Sale was the intial incarnation of Screeching Weasel. The band formed in 1986 and consisted of Ben Foster (aka Ben Weasel), John "Jughead" Pierson, and Steve Cheese. The band name was chosen by Steve Cheese. Aside from some practice tapes, there were no recordings made by the group. With Ben finding the bass guitar more difficult than he'd initially imagined, the band decided to find a more experienced bassist. A friend hooked the group up with Vince Vogel and the band changed their name to Screeching Weasel.
I remember All Night Garage Sale. I remember a newspaper having a profile on All Night Garage Sale in 1986(?). I can't remember which news paper it was...Anybody know? Herald? Trib? Sun-times?

Uncle Fester was a short-lived band from the 1984 timeframe. They played very few shows, one of which was with Life Sentence at a firemans hall.

I saw that show @ the Fireman's Hall in Dundee!! That was a fucking crazy show that got shut down and raided by the police.
For some reason, I remember Life Sentence selling T-shirts but not getting to play...? Maybe?
Good times...
