Seismic Waves

Seismic Waves were a punk band in a UK/West Coast hybrid style from 1980 to 1985. Known for the eternal hit Lip Sync To The Go-Gos and for being African-american in a decidedly pastel scene. Rodney was a DJ on WNUR (Northwestern) radio, hosting "Fast & Loud". Terrific live band.

Per their MySpace page, Seismic Waves "made a few cassettes. Appeared on one compilation (Party Animal - Mystic Records, 1985). Broke up."

These mp3s were graciously granted permission for download by Rodney Anderson. That being said, all rights still belong to Seismic Waves, Pat, Bill and Rodney. All songs were recorded around 1984 and never made it to vinyl. Listen but do not abuse.
