Later they released another split in 1997, this time with The 4 Squares out of St. Charles, a 12-song full-length LP album titled Doin' Stuff with Roy Scherer through Shazam/Quincy Shanks. A second press on blue marble vinyl was issued the same year, but only featured 2 instead of 6 Toucan Slam songs; 8 tracks in total. Again in that same year a third press with the original 12 tracks, 6 and 6, was released on CD; all via Shazam. They also appeared on at least several compilations. | ||

Toucan Slam was based in Olney, Illinois, Southeast of Springfield, just outside of Robinson, almost a 4 hour trip by car to Chicago. Despite their distance, Toucan Slam became a semi-regular at the Fireside Bowl in the mid to later 1990's.
