Tim Mescher was the bassist for Blatant Dissent from around early 1986 until their ending and morph into Tar. He recorded the Dreams 7" and Hold The Fat LP with Blatant Dissent. Mescher left Tar in late 1990 and was replaced by Tom Zaluckyj. Tim was also in Snailboy (which became Shorty) and Full Bore. He is currently a cartographer in Dekalb.
