Tim Mescher was the bassist for Blatant Dissent from around early 1986 until their ending and morph into Tar. He recorded the Dreams 7" and Hold The Fat LP with Blatant Dissent. Mescher left Tar in 1991 and was replaced by Tom Zaluckyj. Tim is currently a cartographer in Dekalb.
