The last location of the Nervous Center was 4612 N. Lincoln Avenue. The Nervous Center was a coffee shop/BYOB hangout that hosted shows. At the Lincoln Square location, shows were held in the basement. Although primarily known as a noise and avant-garde/experimental venue, they also hosted punk bands occasionally until they closed without moving in approx. 2003.
