Robert Porche' was a later member of Silver Abuse, playing drums in the band's fourth incarnation. He replaced Jim Colao in 1983 and performed with SA for just over one year. In summer 1986, he was recuited by the Chicago-based alternative rock/dance band Rant Chant. He performed and recorded with them until the band's break up following a fundraiser for Chicago's Children's Memorial Medical Center. In September 2008, Porche' joined Silver Abuse for its second reunion performance at the Lucky Gator in Chicago.
