Phil Bonnet was an engineer and producer of note throughout the 1980's and 1990s, working primarily out of Solid Sound Studios in Hoffman Estates, IL. He worked with a number of local bands including Apocalypse Hoboken, Sludgeworth, Screeching Weasel, Impulse Manslaughter, No Empathy, Sidekick Kato, Smoking Popes, Slapstick, Life Sentence, Friends of Betty, and others. He also played with the experimental rock band Cheer-Accident. Phil passed away in 1999 after suffering a brain aneurysm.
