The Ivanhoe Theater played a chunk of early national punk shows in the 1970s, including the Ramones/Dictators show in July 1977.

Notable Shows

  • July 6 1977 - The Ramones, The Dictators
  • The Sex Pistols were slated to play their Chicago show at the Ivanhoe (tickets were printed) but, of course, broke-up before they ever made it to the Windy City.
