Hi, I'm Paul, the former drummer of the Chicago Toys. I recall fondly that gig at La Mere, shoot, I still talk about it today!! What a great time. BB Spin had a great show there as well. The place was packed!! Truly a memorable place. The members of the Toys at that time were, Bill Hickman, lead guitar, VAlentino Romero Crenshaw, Bass, Little Mike, rhythym guitar, Dave on vocals, and of course, me Paul Stukin on drums. We covered Search and Destroy (Iggy pop and the Stooges)and Next big thing (The Dictators) respectively, as well as playing our originals.
