Bruce Halverson was a guitarist for a late version (started the end of 1986) of Blatant Dissent and was the singer/guitarist for local Dekalb legends Ring 13. He was known as a major Kiss fan (trying to get BD to do covers to no avail) and currently lives in New York City. Bruce left BD (around Halloween 1987) shortly before it's morph into Tar. Bruce grew up in Dekalb and went to Dekalb High School, along with Tom Clark and Dan Boardman.
