Brian Peterson has been a show promoter in the Chicago punk scene for over 20 years, beginning in the early 1990's. He is the head of MP Productions booking agency and has booked shows for numerous Chicago venues, notably almost all of those for the Fireside Bowl in its hey-day.

Currently, Mr. Peterson is co-owner and operator of the bar/venue Township, formerly Pancho's, located in Logan Square at 2200 N. California Ave; on the NW corner of California & Palmer. "Township’s name comes from both owners wanting something simple, as well as a title that represents community."
