Bobby Skafish

Bobby Skafish was one of the most well-known Chicago DJs during the 1970s and 1980s. To this day, Skafish is one of the more prominent alt-rock DJs for WXRT. He was known for playing acts like The Stranglers, David Bowie and Roxy Music during the beginnings of the punk era. As a result, he was well-received by the members of the scene.

Notes

  • Though they are sometimes confused, Bobby and Jim Skafish are not the same person. They are first cousins.
  • His name is real and is pronounced "SKAY-FISH"
  • Bobby, Jim and the band Skafish have nothing to do with Ska
