Big Mike Johnson was the owner/landlord for The Warehouse during the mid-to-late 1980s. He played a part in getting both locations of the Warehouse going with shows. He was originally just the landlord to the guys in Generation Waste (the Warehouse was their rehearsal space) but, as GW guitarist Ted Domurat put it, "saw that those scary punk kids paid for beer, he loved em!!!! He let me start doing shows every weekend in the place."
